The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. Situated on several Manhattan blocks at 110th St. and Amsterdam Avenue (next door to Columbia University), it is the fourth largest Christian church in the world. The height of the nave is 124 feet (37.8 meters). Construction began in 1892 and continues to this day.
